Marty Dobbin of Whitehorse, Yukon passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Whitehorse General Hospital at the age of 53.
Marty was born June 4th, 1956 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. His career serving the public for over 20 years from coast to coast included his service to Yukoners in the capacity of Fire Marshal, to Nova Scotians as Deputy Fire Marshal and to Ontarians in St. Catharines as Fire Inspector, Local Assistant to the Fire Marshal and as Building Inspector.
In his spare time he treasured working with wood, sketching, reading, golfing and hiking with his dogs.
