Elaine Barbara Marks October 8, 1936 – June 4, 2009 Elaine Barbara Marks (Nee Cook) was born October 8, 1936 in Holland, Manitoba. Elaine is survived by her husband Maurice Scramstad and his family. Sons Bryon (Carol) Marks, Donald (Heather) Marks, Randy Marks & Teira Mackie. Grandchildren Shannon, Hayley, Rick, Logan, Savanna, Tyler, Bryce, and Zach. Sisters Vivian (Ed) Higham, Joan Malo, Shirley (Claire) Adams, and many nieces and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her first husband Denny Marks, son Brad Marks & parents Alton and Alice Cook. Elaine worked for Supervalu/Extra Foods for many years. After retiring Elaine and her husband Maurice enjoyed travelling in the winters and gardening in their beautiful yard during the summers. A celebration of life graveside service will be held Friday June 12, 2009, 1:00 pm at the Grey Mountain Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Gold Rush banquet room from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Elaine will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the cancer society.
